People around the bird organize public events such as bird festivals, education programs, exhibitions, and bird watching excursions to celebrate the day.

This year’s theme ‘ Birds Connect Our World ‘ has been chosen to highlight the importance of conserving and restoring the ecological connectivity that supports the natural movements of migratory birds that are essential for their survival and well-being.
