Mysore

A city rich in heritage is also the cultural capital of Karnataka. Popular for its art galleries, museums, palaces, festivities, and a lot of locally produced goods and services make Mysuru is the cultural center of the state. The traditional festival Dasara is celebrated in splendor and grandeur and depicts the royal culture of the city that still exists with the same charm. Mysuru Silk and Mysuru paintings for their unique features and craftsmanship adds a royal touch to the culture of Mysuru. The unparalleled fragrance of special white Jasmine, grown only in Mysuru, makes it different from other places and is known as Mysuru Jasmine.

Hassan

The unmatchable Hoysala culture of Hassan welcomes tourists for its art and architecture. The Mahamastakabhisheka at Shravanabelagola is a true example of the culture. The once-in-12-year event, not only attracts Jain devotees but also tourists, photographers, international journalists, and all other who love to soak up in the art and culture of any destination. The Iyengar Bakeries, Karnataka Janapada, and Yakshagana at Hassan still hold the old-world charm.
