Mysuru

One of the most delectable meals of cuisine one can find is in Mysuru. A traveller can indulge in royal cuisine the local street food that perfectly blends the unique flavours and the stories behind those unique flavours. The orange chutney spread on the Dosa while it is being cooked added with loads of butter and gingelly oil served with coconut chutney and sambhar is what makes a golden crispy world famous Mysuru Dosa. The interesting story behind the royal sweet Mysore Pak makes the dessert even sweeter. Not to be missed are the Idly- Vada, Bisi Bele Bhath, Kesari bath, Mysore Bonda, Khara Bhath or Upma, and the famous puliyogare rice. Not just the foodies but also the other travellers flock to Mysore for its mouth-watering dishes and relish them for a memorable experience.

Hassan

A very mild difference in cuisine separates Hassan from rest of the Karnataka. A typical South Karnataka cuisine predominantly consists of vegetarian and non-vegetarian both. The staple Ragi Mudde is a steamed dumpling made of millets, served with sambhar and rasam.
