Luxury Golden Chariot Train
Operated by the Indian Railways subsidiary IRCTC and Karnataka, the Luxury Golden Chariot Train has resumed its operations and started accepting bookings.
All the journeys would start and end at Bengaluru and it will cover many iconic places in Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Different packages have been introduced by IRCTC which are as follow;
Pride Of Karnataka Tour Package:
This package is for 6 Nights/7 Days and covers Bandipur Tiger Reserve, Mysuru, Chikmagalur, Hampi, Badami, Pattadakal, Halebeedu, Goa.
Jewels Of South India Package:
This itinerary of 6 Nights/7 Days covers Mysore, Mahabalipuram, Hampi, Chettinad, Thanjavur, Kumarakom and Cochin.
Glimpses Of Karnataka Tour Package:
This package is of 3 Nights/4 Days and covers Mysore, Bandipur, Hampi.
What You Can Expect In The Train:
The 18 coach Luxury Train has been upgraded with upholstered furniture, renovated rooms and bathrooms, fresh linens and brand new cutlery. Each room is equipped with smart TVs with WiFi for streaming services. The Train comprises 44 Guest Rooms having a capacity of 84 Guests. The train has Two Restaurants, One Kitchen, One Bar For Each Coach, Business Centre, Mini Gym and an Ayurvedic Spa.
