ಕೊಪ್ಪಳ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ, ಹಂಪಿಯಿಂದ ತುಂಗಭದ್ರಾ ನದಿಗೆ ಅಡ್ಡಲಾಗಿ ಆನೆಗುಂಡಿಗೆ ಸಮೀಪದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅಂಜನಾದ್ರಿ ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳು ವಾಯುಪುತ್ರ ಹನುಮಂತನ ಜನ್ಮಸ್ಥಳವಾಗಿದೆ. ಅಂಜನಾ ಪುತ್ರ ಹನುಮಂತನನ್ನು ಆಂಜನೇಯ ಎಂದೂ ಕರೆಯಲಾಗುತ್ತಿತ್ತು, ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಈ ಬೆಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ಅಂಜನಾದ್ರಿ ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳು ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಅಂಜನಾದ್ರಿ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಮೇಲಿನ ದೇವಾಲಯವು ನೋಡಲು ಆಕರ್ಷಕವಾಗಿದ್ದು ಭಕ್ತ ಸಮೂಹವನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಒಳಗಿರುವ ಅರ್ಚಕರೊಬ್ಬರು ಕನ್ನಡ ಮತ್ತು ಹಿಂದಿ ಭಾಷೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಸ್ಥಳದ ಮಹಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ನಿರೂಪಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಪುರಾಣದ ಆಸಕ್ತಿದಾಯಕ ಕಥೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವುದು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದು.
