The Department of Tourism, Government of Karnataka participated in the TTF held in Kolkata The Department of Tourism had taken up 60sq. mtrs for the Karnataka Pavilion.

With the objective of showcasing the tourism potential that Karnataka as a State has to offer to tourists, and more importantly among the travel / tourism players and Travellers from the West Bengal and other surrounding states, the Dept. of Tourism, Govt. of Karnataka decided to participate in the TTF event.

This is an opportunity to showcase the destinations and other travel experience which Karnataka can provide to the travellers, since the people from West Bengal are passionate about travelling.

The following were the initiatives taken up the agency:

Invites to participate: Invites were dispatched to the trade in the state to participate in the fair. Each participant was provided with a table and two chairs.

In all there were private participants namely Skyway Travels Pvt. Ltd., Cauvery Emporium & Wayfarers Tours and Travels, Kolkata.

Each of the private participants was to pay a participation fee of Rs. 5000/- for their participation at TTF, Kolkata.

The agency co-ordinated with M/s. Pratiroopi in putting up the Karnataka Pavilion.

15 Panels on the destination were developed by the agency and used at the TTF.
