| This market was built by Tipu sultan and is one of the oldest in the country. Take a stroll through the narrow lanes and you can experience the essence of the local life as well as the former glory of the market. You can just watch the market or purchase almost everything from flowers to vegetables to incense sticks, aromatic oils, exotic herbs, antiques and sandalwood products from here. The market is located on the western side of Dhanwanthri road and opens in the early morning. Tourists are advised to carry cash as most shops don't take cards. |
